Colleen Kessler believes that you are the absolute best teacher there is for your kiddo.
The author of more than a dozen books for parents, teachers, and children, award-winning educator, educational coach and consultant, and passionate advocate for the needs of neurodivergent kids, Colleen has a B.S. in elementary education, a M.Ed. in gifted studies, and is the founder of the popular podcast and website Raising Lifelong Learners, as well as The Learner’s Lab, a membership community of support, social and emotional education, and creative thinking lessons for differently-wired kids and their parents.
Her recent book, Raising Resilient Sons: A Boy Mom’s Guide to Building a Strong, Confident, and Emotionally Intelligent Family is available wherever books are sold! Shannon is a homeschool veteran mom of 11 years with a passion for health wellness. With a solid foundation in homeschooling, Shannon has served as a homeschool consultant and been part of a homeschool curriculum development team. Shannon is a compassionate and highly skilled Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP). She primarily focuses on serving women and children. She firmly believes that the foundation of good health is built on a solid understanding of nutrition and lifestyle choices. By teaching her clients about generational health, Shannon empowers them to make lasting positive changes that can benefit not only themselves but also future generations. Her comprehensive approach addresses the root causes of health issues, aiming to restore balance and vitality to her clients' lives.
NICOLE BAILEY OF MAKING FAMILY COUNT​
I’m Nicole Bailey aka the host of this event! I couldn’t wait to have my own kids to homeschool one day, and now I’m a second generation homeschooler to four beautiful children. Fast forward and I run Making Family Count, an affordable homeschool printing company, with my husband of thirteen years. 2023 saw the release of our official podcast, The Making Family Count Podcast with The Baileys. I am currently in the process of debuting my book "Mom's Recharge: A Practical Everyday Guide to Keeping Your Mom Batteries Charged!"
When I’m not printing or hosting events, you can find me hanging out with my family, thinking up fun unit studies to create, hanging out with my chickens, or planning my next Disney day!
